Ms. Liza Oakley
My name is Ms. Liza Oakley! I will be one of the inclusion teachers for the Junior English classes at Cesar Chavez High School this year. If you need to contact me the best way to communicate is by my email address: [email protected] or you can call at 602-764-4000.
Personal and Educational Background I grew up in Billings, Montana and graduated high school in 1987! I played different sports in high school and managed to earn a scholarship to play college basketball. I played college basketball for a junior college for two years and then went to a small Christian college in Kansas, Tabor College, to finish out my athletic and academic career. I graduated from Tabor College with a degree in Education in 1991. I spend most of my free time either hiking or with my two year old boy, Chance Grayson, who is full of energy and lots of fun. At Cesar Chavez This will be my second year at Cesar Chavez High School. Last school year I worked with the Freshmen English Classes as an inclusion teacher. Although I enjoyed working with the freshmen, I am looking forward to working with the Junior English Classes and Mr. Lopez this year. It’s going to be a great year! |
